Scanner: simple and reliable
The EasyReader uses a built-in scanner to capture and read text. This approach remains the most accurate and dependable solution for reading printed material.
The device can truly be used without sight. Light and shadow have no impact, thick books can be easily pressed flat, and page positioning is always correct thanks to clearly detectable scanner edges. The high-resolution scanner even ensures accurate reading of complex materials such as medication leaflets.
Simple, yet complete
The EasyReader is designed to be extremely easy to use. A limited number of buttons, combined with spoken guidance, ensures intuitive operation.
Users can easily control volume, reading speed, battery status, and navigation. Despite its simplicity, the system offers full navigation at letter, word, sentence, line, paragraph, and page level, familiar to anyone who has used a DAISY player. You can scan entire pages and access every detail with precision.
AI-powered page description and translation
The EasyReader includes a powerful offline artificial intelligence engine that significantly enhances accessibility beyond standard text reading.
When dealing with complex layouts, such as forms, tables, or structured documents, the AI generates a clear, structured page description. This helps users understand not just the text, but also the layout and meaning of the content. The AI description can be accessed as an additional navigation mode, making difficult documents much easier to interpret.
In addition, the AI engine provides instant translation. When a document is in a different language than the user interface, the EasyReader automatically generates a translated version. This makes accessing foreign-language content effortless. Reading across languages is just one click away.
Importantly, all AI processing is done offline, ensuring privacy, speed, and independence from internet connectivity.
Camera: fast content selection
The EasyReader also includes a camera for quick scanning. It allows you to instantly preview a page and choose exactly which part you want to read.
This means you don’t have to wait for a full scan—you stay in control. You can quickly identify text, blank areas, or images, making navigation faster and more efficient. This unique positioning capability makes every page easier to explore.

With up to 7 hours of battery life, the EasyReader is designed for use anywhere. The lightweight aluminium housing ensures durability while remaining easy to carry. Whether at home, at work, or on the go, you can scan and read documents without needing additional equipment.
Fast and accurate performance
With a single press of the scan button, the EasyReader starts reading within seconds. Advanced OCR technology ensures high accuracy and natural voice output. Users can also choose to disable column recognition for straightforward left-to-right reading when needed.
High-quality audio
Texts are read with crystal-clear digital sound. The unit includes the latest Acapela AI voices, generated on the fly with full contextual awareness of the text. In addition to the new AI voices, the EasyReader also includes standard voices from both Cerence and Acapela.
A headphone jack allows for private and focused listening. Additionally, a Bluetooth adapter can be used to connect wireless headphones.
Document management
The EasyReader can read PDF files directly from a USB stick and export texts to MP3 players or USB storage.
Simply connect a device, and the EasyReader will guide you through the available options. With an optional keyboard, you can also save files to internal storage or external media for later listening.
Braille
By connecting a braille display, the EasyReader converts scanned text into braille in real time. All system messages are also available in braille, making the device fully accessible for deaf-blind users.
